With the help of some fabulous local vendors and incredible photographers, we planned our first styled shoot in March to show off some of our favorite styles and trends. After visiting Tree Pittsburgh’s new location for a networking event earlier in the year, we were excited to team up with the organization to show off this stunning space.
With the riverfront property and natural elements of the building, we dreamed up a dusty blue and silver color palette with lots of bold greenery and floral elements.
Nikki created this invitation suite, and Abby hand lettered the envelopes. Coordinating signage helped keep our theme and style consistent throughout the shoot.
We found the perfect dress with Luxe Redux, and our bride was simply glowing thanks to Glam-to-Go’s makeup and hair styling. Her look was a perfect combination of modern, sleek and natural.
For the ceremony, we were going for a very whimsical look with some modern touches. This arch brought those two ideas together, along with all the little touches, like the blue vases and lanterns. We were in awe at how the greenery pulled the whole look into place, and this bouquet was simply gorgeous.
The welcome table included a fun seating chart designed by Nikki, and the green elements and small herbs transformed it into perfection. We loved this little card box, along with the tiny blue vases. The ‘gifts and cards’ sign was hand lettered by Abby.
Sweetheart tables are one of our absolute favorite things to design. With this natural arch from Pippa’s Pieces, hand lettered wood signs from Abby, unique chairs from Tree Pittsburgh and stunning floral elements from Posy, the sweetheart table we imagined came to life. Aren’t our models, Heidi and Jon, so cute? Fun fact: they’re married in real life and have the cutest pup. Of course, we had to get a photo with him, too!
The design of the sweetheart table carried into our guest table with this dreamy centerpiece and eclectic dishes and glasses. We love how all of the different shades of blue create such a unique look.
This cake, though. Wow. We loved how creative Annie Catherine Cakes got with this design. We’re not going to lie, we had mixed emotions about cutting into it at the end of the shoot...but it was super delicious.
Needless to say, we had a blast with our vendors and models. We can’t wait to work with everyone again soon!
